    Annual Art Exhibitions

    Jessie Semple was at the forefront of arts education research and teachings and believed in the educative power of stimulating the imagination. Under her direction, the school board began to hold annual exhibitions of school art in the Granite Rink. These exhibits were then circulated among the schools for one week periods.
