Specialized Courses for a Changing Workplace

Commercial education had long been a dynamic presence in Ontario schools in the form of arithmetic and bookkeeping, but the growing demands of the workplace created the need for a greater number of specialized courses. Accountancy, secretarial, merchandising, and additional courses in typing, stenography, and bookkeeping were available along with the other required courses.
