  • Queen Victoria Golden Jubilee Medals

    The Queen’s Gold Jubilee Medals were distributed by the Toronto Collegiate Institute Board in honour of Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee. The gold medal was presented to Toronto Collegiate Institute Principal Archibald MacMurchy, silver medals to the teaching staff, and bronze medals to the students. The Governor General Lord Lansdowne and Lady Lansdowne visited the Toronto Collegiate Institute on May 13, 1887.
